Stories That Inform Everyday Life

Corrections Policy

How we fix mistakes, openly and quickly.

We work hard to get things right, and when we don’t, we fix them openly.

How to report an error

Send the article link, the statement you believe is wrong, and any supporting source through our Contact page. We review correction requests promptly, usually within a few business days, and reply to let you know the outcome.

How we correct articles

  • Factual errors are corrected in the article, and a dated correction note at the end explains what changed.
  • Significant errors that change the meaning of a story are also noted near the top of the article.
  • Minor fixes such as spelling, grammar or broken links are made without a note.
  • Updates that add new information are marked with an updated date rather than a correction.

Removal requests

We do not remove accurate, published information simply on request, but we will review requests involving privacy, safety, minors or image rights and act where appropriate.
